Copyright and DMCA Policy

Last Updated: April 20, 2026

AumFriday respects intellectual property rights and expects writers to publish only content they own or have permission to use. Copyright complaints are reviewed as moderation issues and may lead to article removal, strikes, account restrictions, or suspension for repeat abuse.

Platform Neutrality & Safe Harbor

AumFriday is an independent, neutral publishing platform. We operate as a service provider and do not pre-screen, endorse, or verify the ownership of content published by our users. Under "Safe Harbor" legal principles, AumFriday is not liable for copyright infringements committed by its users, provided we respond promptly to valid takedown notices sent to info@aumfriday.com.

Writer responsibility

Each writer is responsible for the legality and originality of the text, images, and other material included in an article. Publishing copied work, unattributed material, or unauthorized media may result in content removal and enforcement under our moderation system.

How to submit a copyright complaint

If you believe your work appears on AumFriday without authorization, send a notice to info@aumfriday.com with enough detail for us to review it.

Please include

  • The URL of the article or material in question.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you own or represent.
  • Your name, contact email, and any supporting ownership information.
  • A statement that you believe the use is unauthorized.
  • A statement that the information you provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

What happens after review

Valid complaints may lead to one or more of the following actions:

  • temporary hiding of the article during review,
  • article removal after admin approval,
  • a strike against the writer,
  • publishing restrictions or account suspension for repeat violations.

Moderation decisions are logged for audit and safety purposes.

Appeal or counter-review

If a logged-in writer believes a copyright-related moderation action was made in error, the writer may request review through the dashboard or suspended-account review flow where available. Appeals are reviewed by admins and tied to the underlying moderation record.

Repeat infringement

Repeat copyright violations may lead to escalating action under the strike system. That can include warnings, publishing restrictions, suspension, or account termination depending on the number and severity of violations.

Knowingly false or abusive copyright complaints may themselves be treated as policy abuse.
